Colmar Spring Festival 2026
Every year in April, Colmar is adorned with a thousand colors to celebrate the arrival of spring with the Spring Festival. 🌸
For three weeks, the city hosts two markets to celebrate the first rays of sunshine: the Easter Market and the Spring Market.
This year's festival will take place from April 2nd to 26th, 2026 in the city center, with numerous activities.
It's a chance to discover Little Venice in a new light, amidst flowerbeds and playful rabbits, less than an hour from your hotel.
The Spring Market and the Easter Market are held in the heart of Colmar's old town, on the Place de l'Ancienne Douane and the Place des Dominicains.
Nearly 70 exhibitors, set up in their wooden chalets by the water, offer regional products selected for their authenticity.
You can find linens, plants, beauty accessories, spring decorations, and toys.
This market is also an opportunity to savor some Alsatian products such as tarte flambée, foie gras, jams, cheese, and Alsatian wines.
In addition to the markets, the town offers a varied program with free street concerts on weekends in Place des Martyrs de la Résistance and Place de l’École.
From April 3 to 6, the tourist office is organizing an exhibition entitled “Coquille d’art” (Eggshell Art), dedicated to decorated eggs, in the Koifhus hall.
An opportunity to discover all sorts of techniques, from painting and beeswax decoration to silk wrapping and India ink.
Children aren't left out either, as they can see dozens of farm animals and pet sheep, goats, and rabbits.
On April 12, children aged 3 to 9 can also participate in a large Easter egg hunt in the Place du Champ de Mars from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Colmar's wine cellars are also opening their doors and offering guided tastings. This includes the Domaine Jund cellar, Domaine Karcher et Fils, and the Colmar City Winery.
Don't miss the large flea market on Rue de Turenne on April 13.
